Good trail with some steep and steady inclines. It was quite muddy which was a fun challenge. Definitely wear proper hiking boots (not running shoes or sneakers). The views were beautiful. Unfortunately we missed the fall leaves but it was still very enjoyable. At one point we were indicated to go off trail as the trail was under construction. The signs were poor and misleading but we found our way to the correct spot eventually. It was great because we didn’t encounter too many people. We took this trail (Grand Brule) to the summit and then took Caps down.

Went one way downhill. Rocky initially then more muddy towards the bottom. Four hours with a dozen photo stops. The gondola from the summit stops operating at 1630. Were the young folks I met at 1545 starting to go up planning to do an out-and-back-in-the-dark???

Such a fun hike! My new favorite in the North East! You can zipline down if you make reservations or you can take the gondola down (it was $7) There’s a ton of beautiful views along the way. Definitely a long hike, kinda tough, but if you take it at a good pace it’s not bad. took us like 3 hours with a lot of breaks. Amazing view at the top.

Very nice trail. Several scenic points along the way, some steep sections and some flat sections allowing you to catch your breath. Would recommend to beginners such as ourselves :)

this was a long hike but lots of beautiful spots along the was. descent of Grand Brule was tough after all that came before it, lots.of.loose.rock and gravel.

Right combination of enjoyable yet challenging for the amateur hiker. Viewing points along the hike are beautiful scenic views. Diversity in the type of trails. Signs do warn for muddy trails, however we haven’t had rain in a while and trails was super dry. Waterfalls at the beginning are also worth a picture or 2

If one of the reasons you go hiking is to have time out in nature and away from the hustle and bustle of humanity I would suggest that you keep on looking and give everything on this side of Mont Tremblant a hard pass. The trail is made up of bits of walking trails strung together with the gravel maintenance roads and four wheeler trails for the ski resort. Every single possible view at every single point on this trail is blocked by chair lifts and snowmakers. And the noise is absolutely unremitting. There was not a single second over the course of the entire hike (we looped back down on the Caps trail) that we were not assaulted by engines, power tools, the beeping of trucks backing up, the constant whizzing of the zipline, planes, helicopters, sounds from the carnival at the bottom of the hill, the utterly relentless (and I mean it never, ever stopped) whining of cars going around the race track in the valley, and finally, over an hour of a sound check for a concert (microphone check one two one two). There are far better hikes to be had in the area-- and even ones that don't charge you extortionist parking rates at that. (The fake, Disney-esque alpine village at the trailhead doesn't pass up a single opportunity for monetizing your experience). Also, would say that this probably shouldn't be rated as hard-- no scrambling, no bouldering, nothing technical, it just goes up.

This was a great hike overall! The views and few lookouts were very pretty. On the downside though, there was a ton of bugs and it is quite muddy. The path is very diverse and there are lots of rock faces that can be difficult to hike up! Would recommend for more experienced hikers!

Many muddy sections on the Grand Brule trail that slowed progress. We did meet a deer on the trail that wasn’t afraid of humans and let us pass by a couple feet away. On the way down we took the Sasquatch trail that joined the Vertigo trail. That was a much easier hike and less muddy. Lots of bugs out, make sure you bring bug spray.

Sentier à faire uniquement pour son défi physique. À la base et au sommet, c'est le carnaval des petits kits de sport flambants neufs. Dans la montée, on se rend compte qu'un centre de ski, c'est un désastre écologique.
