Visited here in late june. Did a 3km hike around the lake and through the woods followed by a +2.5km run along more or less the same loop.

Beware of bird poop and the Canada Geese! Those suckers cam be terrifying!

There are plenty of lookout points around the lake with benches to sit and enjoy the quiet and natural beauty.

Almost no mosquitoes in the forest and the trails are large and well maintained (other than the bird poop)

Theres also a small sandbox toddler park along the trail. Very kid friendly area with a nice parc at the main entrance for a picnic.

Theres also a nice gazebo by the lake with a few benches and chairs.

It's a good place to go for a run if you reside in the DDO/Pierrefonds area, much better than using a running track.

Small but cozy. Enough to feel like a nature getaway from the city vibes
