Lots of frogs and turtles. Several great lookout points.

Nice place for an easy hike with the kids through forest and boardwalk through marsh. As for the comment on the captive birds of prey... these are birds that are injured and would not survive in the wild or cannot be released in the wild due to previous human interaction. Great place to visit.

I walk the trails weekly. Always something new to see if you take your time and look around. An annual pass is well worth it if you live locally.

My wife and I went for an afternoon hike in April and it was quite enjoyable. It is a very easy walk with some great sights to see. Our only concern were the animals living in captivity. There are several large birds of prey that are confined in cages and used in shows. Perhaps they are injured and can't be released. They also keep snakes in small glass cages. This doesn't seem right and it had a negative impact on our visit. Other than this, an enjoyable place to visit.

The trails are also open for all kinds of winter activities, including cross country skiing and snowshoeing. They also have rentals.
