This is a great (good weather) trail with lots of variety and feels "far" from the road though in actuality you're right along major thoroughfares. Parking is super easy. The biggest issue is that it is super icy during the winter and not sure if it is ever maintained. Also a fair amount of traffic if that's an issue.
The trail of many bridges! I ran on it on a Monday afternoon it was scantly populated, but I can see how it could get crowded. The park also provides ideal terrain for cyclist and mountain bikers. Finally, if you’re using it to trail run i’d suggest mapping out your trail before hand, otherwise you could run in circles.
Senena Grunday park and Sunnybrook park. Take bike road mixed with trail course. Came back to parking lot a d walk to Edward Garden through also bike road. Full of fall colors. Great path.
Overall I had a great time here, we tried to travelled off the main path just cause there was a lot of people, and the main trail is completely paved. Lots of side path that were pretty fun just watch for cyclists.
Really enjoyed this trail especially the nature loop part. I like how they had a flatter easy trail and a elevated option. The constant up and the downs were so much fun. Definitely do again. No bugs. Certain section had a lot of cyclist. Busier on the paved trails not as busy on the wooded trails but that was the fun part.
Was a nice walk but that’s about it. Didn’t really feel like I was out in nature but that probably had to do with the fact that it was extremely busy. Watch out for cyclists. They WILL run you over.
very snowy stay on the main trail
