Nice trail for children and the whole family. There are trees on either sides which makes it more pleasant. There is paved trail right across the road from that one too.

-10C with a strong wind out of the west made it pretty hard going with drifting snow across the trail, particularly in those sections of trail that were exposed to the open fields. Never the less it was an enjoyable outing. I will be sure to return in better weather to complete the full out and back.

A bit of a drive to get to Palmerston but well worth it . Make sure to check out the railway museum . This is a beautiful trail out in the middle of nowhere . The northern end is not finished and will end you in a farmers field , still very nice . Back in town there is a nice restaurant on the main street . A good days outing , highly recommended ! K
