Fun trail, not too difficult. I completed the trail in about 10-11 hours of hiking over two days. Lots of small ups and downs, but nothing crazy. I don't think I spent more than a couple of minutes ascending at any one time. The trail is fairly easy to follow the entire way with one or two spots where I briefly had to stop and take a look to make sure I was going the right way. Most of the trail is well worn, but there are still lots of rocks and roots and uneven parts of the path to keep things interesting. The bugs at this time of year were around but not much of a nuisance. Mostly just mosquitoes and a few deer flies. There's no need to pack heavy for a trip like this, as I saw some fellow hikers doing. Keep light, bring a water filtration system, just a change of socks and underwear and maybe an extra shirt to change into, and keep the food light and two days should be enough to finish the trail while still taking time to take in some of the sights.
