Lots of icy patches today. You need crampons until you get to the beach.
Lovely day. Cold into the wind out but nicer on the way back. Parked in lower lot.
Beautiful sunny day to enjoy the trail and the socially distancing company of friends.
it is great trail for bikers who loves to see the beach, blue sky and blue water and the forest. The breeze and the smell of flowers and trees is so relaxing. Biked at early morning so it wont be too warm.
The trail was busy with families eager to enjoy the nice weather but there was plenty of space to keep our distance. The trails is pretty straightforward (more of a walking/biking trail) but there were beautiful views of the lake. Occasionally runs through residential streets.
