This is a beautiful trail that's easy if you travel from west to east! There are plenty of amenities along the trial, including picnic areas, children's play areas, waterfront viewing areas and washrooms. Trail is well-maintained. I love crossing the little bridges over the water!

Great route west along the St. Lawrence River along the Waterfront Trail. Flat paved trail used by cyclists, runners and walkers. Head east from Lamoureux Park, enjoy the waterfall in the Eco-Gardens, go under the International bridge and explore the Cornwall Canal to the west. Great route for runners looking for 5k or 10k runs. Public washrooms and free parking at the Cornwall Civic Complex. Easy walk to restaurants and shopping.

I cycle this section of the trail quite regularly from April to October. It is beautiful going through wooded sections, along the St. Lawrence River, through the Lost Village Museum, picnic areas, and beaches. Don't be surprised to see deer especially at dusk. I can't wait to be out there again.
