A walk in moss covered stone filled woods pass cute streams and round a nice pond. The trail starts flat and the gets a bit more hilly. Unfortunately the trail is poorly marked so pay attention to the red/blue/green signs on the trees.

We went at a time in the evening that was very heavy with mosquito activity and as such couldn't complete the actual trail through the woods. We did walk the road to the water which was still nice.

Great trail in the woods for walking dogs, but poorly marked especially further along the trail.

This is a lovely trail to walk at the end of the winter. I went with my brother and sister and their families (so kids ranging from 2-7) and most of the trail was very do-able. Watch out though: the trails through the woods can be a bit icy in March and very challenging for toddlers. But the views of moss-covered woods and stones and fences is very pastoral and gentle and peaceful.

A strike against the trail is the lack of good signage. We got confused a few times (but it may be the time of year) . Also watch out for the horse manure!
