Nice easy trail with some rocky sections! Definitely good for a short walk but watch out for the bugs.
The trail is short but it says that it is short. The trail is also muddy but that is not too bad. The view makes it worth the while. l say that you should take a picnic lunch and walk out to the first set of rocks and take in the view because it is fantastic! Then pick up your picnic and walk around the rocks to the other scenic view. This is what this hike is all about!
This is a nice short loop with interesting terrain and great views of Georgian Bay. We saw three deer and a porcupine on our hike. Some sections of the trail were quite muddy due to recent rain, but it was easy to walk around these areas.
Lovely short looping trail to Twin Points overlooking Georgian Bay
Easy trail, very well marked! Rained a lot yesterday so the trail was a bit wet but still very nice.
One of the nicest trails in Ontario. Just be careful with black flies in the backcountry rocky part of the trail, bug spray is highly recommended.
Good ratio of sun to shade on this trail! Not too long either, it was the perfect in between
Great trail with many lookout areas and benches to take a break + flat grounds for picnics if you would like! Went around 9am and were almost the only ones on the trail, very peaceful! This trail is a loop trail but if you go to the left (closest to the water) it is a much flatter hike out and you could just do that side out and back. The rest of the trail is well marked, but slightly more rocky with a few ups and downs (would still consider it an easy hike, just need to watch your footing).
Nice, easy, short but interesting trail. Through forest and leading to a very scenic rocky shore (minus the intrusive boats), good for a swim and picnic. Good trail for kids. Had spots of busy-ness and could be loud (lots of kids) but easy to find quiet(er) spots on the giant rock shore.
This trail has the potential to be a great short trail but is ruined a bit by the high number of visitors and the boats moored in the harbour (just getting rid of the boats ruining the peaceful scenery would raise the trail by a point). The signposts are a bit run down too, like all those in Killbear. On the plus side, lots of walking over Canadian Shield and also we saw deer and a Massasauga rattlesnake.
