I put in more pond time than Sean Clark this pass pond season and the season before that.

Great trail. Not too easy, wild and challenging at some points, but still fairly easy to follow. Lots of wildlife if you’re quiet and pay attention.

The main reason this gets a poor review is on 2 occasions I’ve gone off trail accidentally (due to lack of signage) and ended up in a glass graveyard. The WHOLE area is COVERED in broken glass. By the time I realized the glass my dog had already cut his pad on a piece. I had to carry my 70 pound dog across probably a 300m area. I don’t know how it all got there, but it’s dangerous. I’ve never seen so much glass on the ground in my life. The second time it happened I kicked myself for making the same mistake, but also, whoever maintains the park should maybe find this area and either clean up the glass or put signage around it to prevent people from making the same mistake I did.

Hiked this trail on beautiful fall day. A lot of hiking is in open rock areas so would be hot in summer. I imagine nasty bugs as well. Signage/maps needs replacing.

Ok trail. Easy peasy sometime you need rubber boots. Can get very busy in the summertime. Even though it's a sky preserve you can always see light pollution from surrounding towns.
