Torbolton Forest Loop is a 2.3 kilometer moderately trafficked loop trail located near Ottawa, Ontario, Canada that features beautiful wild flowers and is good for all skill levels. Although it is a very nice area to walk with your dog... if your trying to stay on the designated path it’s very confusing and the trail is not marked very well.

My family and I did the north end of Torbolton Forest. We had heard this area had pine trees and sand dunes but although the soil is very sandy, we didn't see any dunes. There were lots of pine trees though! You park at the community centre on Len Purcell Drive and cross the street for the trails.

Heard lots of birds and saw blue jays, woodpeckers and red squirrels.

The trail itself is dead flat with very little elevation changes. It was nice but somewhat repetitive after awhile - hence the 2 star rating. .

I'm curious to walk the southern portions of the trail to see if that's where the dunes are.
