This is a paved pathway that winds through residential areas, and through downtown London. It follows the Thames River in both north and south directions.

Very nice paved trail that’ divided by a yellow line (very helpful to avoid collisions when running/biking). The leaves are changing colours so it’s time to get out and soak up the beauty of autumn.

Great trail. The neighborhood part sucks

Not much to see. Just a walk in the park. Thousands of snails on the trail after a rain. Avoided most, but there was a couple crunches heard.

The description is wrong or will confuse people. I'm a local, and live in London, Ontario and walk this trail dozens of times per year. It's not NEAR London, as the description says; it is IN London. It's NOT a "forest" setting, and there are no forests nearby. The trail winds through several park areas, and along areas that do have lots of trees - but there's no "forest". The trail follows mostly along the Thames River, through both residential areas and parks. The indicator of the start point is actually downtown London! The pathway is also paved, and includes joggers, rollerbladers and cyclists as well as walkers. My favourite part is to start from Greenway Park on the other side of the river, and walk north to Gibbons Park, almost to the University of Western Ontario.
