Please note: As of July 31/2020 users have reported that the parking entrance off Don Valley Road is closed. The trail is multi-usage and runs between Don Mills and Victoria Park. It is composed of a paved main route following a nice little river with two more hidden trails hugging both sides of the valley cliffs and under the tree canopies. Accessibility: The trail surface is paved and it is typically at least six feet wide. The steepest sections are in the first 0.6 miles when going east, so wheelchair or stroller users may want to start from the eastern end and go west instead, where the grade is gentle (estimated under 3%).

There are washrooms about halfway along this trail and at the end (when going east).

Inspired by the previous review, we walked north of Victoria Park subway station and took the stairs down to the park, walking along Taylor Creek to the Don Valley. After passing under the highway and past the Elevated Wetlands sculptures, we followed the Don River, past the Brickworks, under the Bloor Viaduct, then took the pedestrian bridge across to Riverdale Park, walked past Riverdale Farm, through Cabbagetown and back to the subway.

Mountain bikingGreat!

One of the best multipurpose midtown trails in Toronto. I bike from Vic Park at east end and then go west and connect with Lower Don trail to go to Cherry Beach and loop back east via the Martin Goodman/Lakeshore trail. Traylor Creek section is generally in excellent shape. Surface water in lower sections. Several on /off options.

Nice hike. I agree with the reviews that recommend to hike the side paths, off of the main path. Much less crowded and more nature.

Easy. Busy. Suggestion to go to the start at the most West Point and walk to the last bridge, cross the creek and walk on the other side. There is a fort hidden in there.

Very underrated, the start of the trail alongside the creek is amazing. Challenge yourself and stay off the paved road.
