The spiral staircase and rock staircase were fun as were the ruins but that is all right at the parking lot. The trails itself isn’t much. The ‘spirit rock’ sign and look out was nothing.

Bruce and Spirit Rock connect at the stairs, and that's the only way to go from one to the other

Tackled this same day as Inglis falls. Went to see ruins and trail. Ruins relatively lack lustre. Trail at base of winding metal stair fairly easy along water. Kids even attempted to take some dips along the way (bit chilly in June!). Good afternoon. Only main steep hike portion is near stairs. Otherwise relatively flat

Fantastic hike. Keep focused on the markings. It’s so beautiful that I got off the trail a couple of times. Luckily the app knew where I was going!

Great family trail. We took our 3 kids (2,4, and 7). Trail was easy to navigate for them by following the blazes and the terrain was mostly easy. We started at the Water Treatment plant and walked along the bay and then up the spiral staircase and looped through Spirit Rock. Was almost 5km. Map isn't accurate.

Tons of poison ivy along the path (I wished I was wearing long pants) which made the walk much less enjoyable than others around Bruce Peninsula. I agree, I don’t know if the map is accurate... we parked in the conservation area and it was only maybe a 2.5km loop hike.

Parking was $6. Great photo opportunities at the spiral staircase and ruins. Took advantage of all the trails in the bush.

Spirit rock trail - downtown wiarton - Bruce trail. Made a great loop with beautiful forest scenery, followed by bayside walk, and a fun climb at the end up the spiral staircase (actually way easier to go up with a dog on leash, than down).

SUCH an amazing trail. Starting to melt (time of year) but still really accessible to walk! Easy to lose trail from flooding. Watch for markers! Took a bunch of pictures - check out my recording!

the trail was very cool and the staircase is still solid and the dog went down it lol. the weather was a low overcast and there was lots of tree cover for shade on the Trail. It was a great time.

Nice trail. Mosquitos bad especially at the parking lot. Outhouse would not recommend using. Loved the spiral staircase.
