Nice trail. Mosquitos bad especially at the parking lot. Outhouse would not recommend using. Loved the spiral staircase.

Would recommend parking at the end of Bayview st past the marina (fo free!!) instead of at the spirit rock conservation area as you have to use an app “MacKay Pay” to pay for parking and the tiny road in is not ideal for large vehicles. Fun trail

Easy hike, ruins made a great history lesson - go back home and do some googling, very interesting. Started at checking out the ruins and staircase to water then came back up and did the side trail into Wiarton, followed Main Bruce train along water front which met back up at bottom of stairs. Great day would recommend.

After walking the main road you will come to a ruin known as, “The Corran” from the 20th century. There are 2 trails that run parallel with one another. The main trail is down the spiral stair case that follows the shore line. Note: the stair case is a maximum of 2 people at a time! To follow the trail along the ridge line take a right and follow the Bruce trail markers. This is an extremely easy & enjoyable hike with an amazing view, would highly recommend.

Great and easy hike, really enjoyed it and it was easy to follow the path even with the leaves when walking in mid of October!

Really enjoyed this trail - not too difficult but still a good workout for beginner hikers. Mostly a walk through a pretty deciduous forest area, with a couple of nice views of Georgian Bay. It also connects with part of the Bruce Trail so that you have the option of walking along the shoreline. For history lovers there's a ruin of a mansion built by a Canadian MP early 20th century which is worth a visit, with a very pretty picnic area.

Okay trail, make sure to follow the trail on top of the cliff to get to the lookout. We followed the lake which was much better, but was not spirit rock.

Lots of fun with the kids. Cool day, warm sun. Saw many other hikers out. Easy walk, staircase and walk down to bay are great but a bit slippy, hang on - but definitely go for it.

Late season on misty day. Be careful of slippery rock. Easy to hurt yourself. Still has views and a story. Worthwhile.

Beautiful and fun hike. Beware of poison ivy though.

Great trail that take you buy the remnants of a historic home and down a rock face via a spiral staircase. It's a bit of a climb back so not recommended for those with limited mobility. The short trails takes you down to the shores of Georgian Bay. Breathtaking.
