Simcoe County Forests: Foster Tract is a 3.9 kilometer lightly trafficked loop trail located near Essa, Ontario, Canada that offers the chance to see wildlife. The trail is good for all skill levels and offers a number of activity options. Dogs are also able to use this trail but must be kept on leash.

The trail was almost totally flooded. There were a few patches that weren't but were still very wet. Several areas had fallen trees and you had to go way off trail to get around them. I had to abandon the trail early as it wasn't very easy to navigate with all the flooding and down trees. Would not recommend this trail until early summer/fall.

Waaaay too icy! Definitely would be a lovely walk in spring with the broad leaves in bud. But some nice trees, a river view and quiet solitude! A nice little piece of exercise and fresh air! Watch out for dog poop! Lol. ;)
