This loop maps out the best parts of Serena Gundy. It makes a great weekend morning trail to walk the dog or a brisk hike just to get outside.
Cold, fast and muddy. Mixed in with a bit of fine, blowing snow.
Great trail for a short leisurely walk in the park. Pretty scenery, access to parks, lots of benches and picnic tables. There are also other connecting trails if you want to make your hike a little longer. The only reason I gave it 4 stars instead of 5 is because of the bridge at the beginning of the trail. It has a metal grid bottom and is terrible on a dogs feet. In fact my dog tried but it hurt him and he stopped walking. I ended up having to carry my 45 lb dog across it both ways! Other then that, it was very nice.
