This is an absolutely gorgeous hike any time of year. However recent weather changes have severely affected trail conditions. Definitely need micro spikes and trekking poles. Forest trails are extremely icy and hills can be quite dangerous. Trails that get more sun are a muddy mess. Give it a few weeks and I’m sure everything will be dried out !
Had to turn around after 20 min (where the forest starts). Insanely icy then turned to massive mud puddles. Very slippery. Would not recommend until it snows again or wait until spring!
A beautiful place to hike. The scenery is spectacular and the trails are clearly marked. Snow packed slopes make the elevation challenging in spots but the views are definitely worth it.
we took a few pictures of some tracks... I wonder if someone know what kind of animal tracks was that... a ? super super cool to see tho....
