beautiful trail...hidden gem....we parked at lowville park and crossed over to what looks like a private drive.
To the right is the path the other 2 are drive ways.
Don't forget bug spray:)

Nice and peacful trail along with a river. Make sure you get back through the trail rather than the side streets.

Great trail. The ruins and river are a nice addition to the scenery. Great for walking with your dog.

A great little hike. Took us 1.5hr to complete and that was with a 10 min break and walking at a moderate pace. Beautiful river setting and the ruins were interesting. Had a couple of steep hills to climb at the end to get the cardio going. Would do it again!!

Nice trail, quite easy. Missed the ruins as I didn't read reviews and it wasn't apparent as to their location. Can finish off the small portion of the bruce trail to the north of the loop if you want to add in some decent elevation climb and difficulty to round out the hike nicely.

Great quiet trail.
went with my dog. didn't run into anyone else. Lots of snow on the ground today so the trail provided was a bit hard to follow for the way back . ended up off trailing a bit and then ended up on the original trail. The "ruins" can be easy to miss but it's on your left on the way in where the trail splits.

Lovely trail along the scenic river. Has anybody done tubing on this river? Looks like it could be a nice gentle relaxing ride. Somehow we missed the ruins. Will go back in the fall to see the foliage.

Pretty overgrown grassy areas, muddy spots, and must have missed the ruins. Encountered some horse back riders part way. Some nice shady spots when near the river.

Nice trail! A little muddy in some spots but very nice scenic views. Didn't find the ruins on this attempt though. Parking is a little iffy as well.

Nice views of the river and small dam. Easy enough hike but not much parking

This place is awesome. Used the gps coordinates and it took me right there. There is free 5 hour parking. And no fee to walk the trail.

It had rained last night so a few slick places Aside from the very beginning and end there isn't much climbing. The river is stunning. Next time I will bring a picnic for lunch. So many vistas.
