Great view of Stormy Lake. A few steep parts but overall not bad. As others have said, you cannot go up the fire tower.

Great hike, we did this trail with our dog, there were quite a few other dogs out. The amber lake lookout was nothing special but the other lookout was nice and the fire tower is cool to see.

Great trail, took just over an hour to do with a slow pace and pausing to enjoy scenery. Definitely take the steep trail on the way up to the look out, you do NOT want to come down that.

Nice trail. Bit challenging at times due to steep rocky terrain and some difficult footing but overall not too hard. View from the peak is stunning!

Nice trail. Scenic view from the fire tower area. Tower is not accessible.

Very nice trail. Completed faster than the predicted time. Beautiful view, but the lookout tower is not climbable which is unfortunate. Well marked and cleared.

A beautiful place for a day hike. I would highly reccomened it. Mostly easy going with a few short, steep climbs (that are worth the effort). We saw alot of birds, turtles, frogs and even a couple water snakes

This trail loop offers plenty of interesting natural beauty and plenty of animals. If you’re looking for an easy hike skip the last look out loop, but if you do the vertical scramble that you’ll pretty much have to use your hands to get up, you’ll be rewarded with a spectacular view at the top. The fire tower was the most underwhelming part of this hike but the small lake with abundant turtles, water snakes, and birds was one of the highlights. I highly recommend allowing for extra time to slow down and enjoy every step.

Easy to moderate hiking. Beautiful up at the top overlooking the lake.

great trail, not too technical, really nice views.

The tower is pretty cool but it kinda sucks that you can't climb it like you can in Temagami. The view of Stormy Lake is truely breathtaking! There's also a pretty cute pond. Definitely need bug spray if you do it in June/July. We saw deer both times we hiked this trail :)

I would classify this trail as moderate as there are some steep rocky sections.
