Awesome trail especially on the Bruce section. Picturesque views of the river followed by a roofed forest and amazing views of the escarpment and bay and fissures to boot. The trails that are a part of the Pretty River Park aren't super well kept but okay. Be sure to download a map as the trails aren't well marked either. All in all a great time. In the future I'll likely stick more to the bruce trail.

Great trail! Went after the rain and while some patches were slippery downhill it was still a useable trail. Definitely keep your eye on the app though! I downloaded the map ahead of time and in the 10 minutes my phone was away we got lost on a side trail

Great trail. Lots of off shoots from the main path. So glad I had the paid subscription with the downloaded map. Many areas in the trail have no cell reception. Make sure to wear proper hiking shoes if heading there after a rainfall. The descent was tricky at a few places as the ground was quite wet the day we went!

Great trail. Many side routes that can make it hard to find your way back. The river was beautiful to walk along side.

WalkingBugsGreat!

Trail was wonderful - did not disappoint! Had to bypass all the road closure signs to get to the trail head. Fabulous trail, really needed my app for some sections as markings were not clear and would have taken us through another loop, when we were not up for! We will definitely will be hiking this again!

For those that drive there is space to park your car on the side of the road. Yesterday it rained a lot so the trail was pretty muddy in some spots. Such a great trail with some elevation, but not too bad. Great views of Collingwood and Wasaga beach from one of the view points. Definitely bring bug spray as there were a lot of bugs out. Fun hike!

This was our first long distance hike. The trail was well maintained. Get the app and follow the map system provided - so helpful! It would not have been as enjoyable without this resource as there are a lot of side trials and it is not all clearly marked. We intend on going back again.

Excellent trail! Lots to see and probably one of the best overlooks in Central Ontario. Lots of trails so can be a bit confusing so use the app. Bugs were really not a problem. The name suites as it is a very “Pretty” River.
