Most popular for mountain biking in the summer and cross-country skiing or snowshoeing in the winter. Can still be hiked during the summer. May find muddy or flooded areas in the spring or after rainfalls. Several hills at different spots. Bring bugspray in the summer. There is also a possibility of bear encounters.

Excellent spring time walk through the forest that you can see through because not yet covered with summer foliage. No bugs yet. Sitting at a nice babbling brook having a lunch. awesome day!

One of my favourite go to hiking spots! There's no amazing views, but some great trials for a walk with the family, plus it's dog friendly! Love going cross-country skiing and snowshoeing out there in the winter too.

Did the ' yellow ' arrow trail Sept 14th. No bugs, No other people either. Trails are well maintained and well marked. I would rate this as easy, I ran it instead of walking, needed to watch my footing, as there are a lot of stones, roots and turns. Very easy to get to, lots of parking. Mostly used for mountain bikes, just kept my eye our for them.

I walked a portion of the trail system. The trails are well marked, and it has a nice mix of thick tree areas, and high canopy areas that really open it up. The bugs came out pretty aggressively near the end of my hike... but time of year (last day of May) and humid day with light rain starting had a lot to do with it I think. Worth a visit, I plan on going again soon and try some of the other trails.

This is one of the trails at the Pembroke cross-country ski club. Trails are used for mountain biking when there is no snow.
