September 2018 - Very quiet and extremely lightly trafficked. The road leading into the trail is bery bumpy and full of holes. Drive carefully. Not sure what it would be like in other seasons but it was great at the end of September. The trees started changing colours which made for great photos. We saw a wolf or coyote on the road about 10 feet from me. Not sure which is was because it took off so fast. There were zero bugs which was fantastic and made for a great hike. I didn’t see any waterfalls but the rapids were beautiful and that trail continues on if you go off the app path. The map on the app is backwards which can be confusing but it’s very easy to follow and figure it out.

Short hike to amazing waterfall

Granted it was winter, but the trail was difficult to find and follow. The map at the trail head is backwards and largely useless. The river was very cool and worth checking out but the trail didn't seem to follow it.
