My favourite trail of the three we did in the park - by far. Has a little bit of everything; challenging areas but not too challenging; elevations broken up with linear paths; great exercise. Loved it and would highly recommend it.

Awesome trail. One can see a small lake, a sea size big lake with beautiful beach, a waterfall, and a forest—all in one. Please stay on tracks to protect the nature.

As advertised—a bit of everything. Somewhat technical hike with nice up and down. Inland lake, waterfall, lookouts, and Lake Superior shoreline all on offer.

Orphan Lake is one of my favorite must do trails, I make sure its completed at least once a year. Its a pretty demanding trail, but not until the loop back from Superior. The views of Orphan lake a spectacular, and once on top of the bluffs overlooking Superior, you just have to sit and take it all in. We went in August which meant a swim with my dog in the most crystal clear water you will ever see. Highly recommended hike, make sure you bring snacks, water or even a portable BBQ like I did this year, it makes the trek so much more relaxing and memorable. Not for anyone with heart conditions, there is a lot of hefty uphill workouts that will make you sweat off a few lbs :-)

Spectacular views of the Orphan Lake and Lake Superior. Great waterfall where the kids can play. Too bad it rained so much.

Lots of fun, easy to moderate, multiple lake views, scenic views and rivers. Completed quickly, did stop to view a few things and have lunch at the beach. Uphill, rocks, roots involved.

My GPS watch said this was 8 Km. Was very steep in places. Was also very slippery in areas due to an earlier rainfall. I found the markings on trail confusing, personally. I accidentally took the Lookout Point detour. All in all took me nearly 4 hours.

**forgot to stop recording and drove off to the park store so stats are off**. Trail was amazing, the last 2.5km kicked my a**. Beautiful lookouts, the pebble beach left me speechless! Would highly highly recommend this one. Worst case, just go to pebble beach and back (3-3.5km one way).

Nice trail! Great lookouts over Orphan Lake and Lake Superior. It offers different terrains, river view, waterfalls, the stone beach at Lake Superior as well as a nice trek along the lake. I'd recommend this for sure! Loving Lake Superior Provincial Park and the many trails here! Very beautiful scenery on the trails and the drive en route to them.

Really nice trail, quite rugged to climb though in places, took 1:45m. Nice quiet beach half way along looking into Superior.

Really nice view on the different lakes and a really impressive waterfall. Fairly flat and easy, compared to other parts of the park. Had a really great time there.

Beautiful hike with vistas along the shores of the secluded Orphan Lake, and lookout to Lake Superior, and waterfalls. some steep, slippery, rocky areas, but relatively moderate as listed. There's a nice break at the 1/2 way point on the beach of Superior. Great trail to spend an afternoon exploring!

Went to this trail.. beautiful trail to hike.. only did one lookout as we were looking more for the little falls... which we didn't get too cuz they are too far! The trail marks 5.5km but if you do the whole thing it's more like 8km! But for what we did... their can be some steep hills... but good views!

Love this trail! A beautiful walk around orphan lake. The best swimming spot once you get out to Lake Superior. The walk was challenging at times, but mostly shaded. My only complaint is that it wasn’t well marked on our return.
