Lots to see, good inclines, and a great wood stump for a hot chocolate break.

Great hike today with some fun elevation. Snowed last night which made for a beautiful start this morning at 930. Was quite busy by the time we were done and parking was jammed then

HikingGreat!

Easy hike, lots of free parking and the trail offers different views of varying trees, views of the river and some views of the valley if you cut in half way.

Nice trails. The trees have almost lost all the leaves but the colours are still beautiful. Peaceful atmosphere. Not too many people on the trail. Easy hike.

Oct 21, 2020. We pulled over 20 black legged ticks off of my small dog. It was not fun. Enjoyed the walk through the woods, but I suspect the long grass up in the open area circling the ponds is the culprit. We also found ticks on our clothes too. Beware.

HikingGreat!

This was an ok trail. Very easy. But it was really busy last weekend with lots of people so it was not as enjoyable. I assume it’s because of the fall colours and the long weekend but definitely busier than we would have liked.

pros: - lots of (free) parking - many sub trails to explore - bathrooms - beautiful fall colours - GORGEOUS drive from markham (winding roads, beautiful trees, tons of biodiversity!) - amazing small businesses to stop along the drive! (butter tarts, farms, pie stands!) cons: - kinda crowded - lots of pavement - not 100% wheelchair accessible - you gotta walk up and down a pretty big pavement hill to get to any of the trails - no epic views or lookout spots

HikingBlowdownGreat!

Beautiful trail in the fall, gorgeous views of the leaves. Unfortunately some trees have fallen into the river, causing some really large fish to get stuck and die. My dog loved finding the fishes, but myself not so much lol.
