This was a great trail. Well marked and dry. A bit of elevation. I regretted not bringing my poles for the down hill.

Did the full out and back from the Red Rock end. Alternated some hiking, some trail running depending on terrain (mostly hiking). Amazing views, well marked/ well worn trail with some good climbs and varied terrain; stairs, rocks, roots, swamp.. If you have the option of waterproof hiking boots go with those! I got a couple good soakers

we did 6 miles...3 out and back. great views of the lake along the trail. Water raised during hike and made it a bit tougher to hike back but do able!

Beautiful views and a really fun hike! Varied terrain and a couple little stream crossings keep things interesting. I completed this as an out and back starting at the Red Rock end, and despite some very soggy conditions, enjoyed every minute.
