Note the listed distance is from the lower parking lot, which is closed in winter. From the upper lot I did the Bruce side trail down and the Nassagewaya trail back (orange markers) since I had to be at an appointment and it ended up being 8.6k! Alternating sections of mud, ice, snow and slush in early March.

Rattlesnake Point is always a pleasure to hike. Worth the $7 entrance fee. The fall colours are beautiful, especially from the many southern lookout points.

Great trail, very busy in spots on a beautiful Sunday afternoon. Some challenging parts makes the trail a lot of fun with the dog.

it was a great hike on a rainy day. smelt pretty bad tho (like as though I was in a gigantic outhouse) I'm not sure if the rain caused the overpowering smell but I left wondering why the heck was so strong and if it was good for me to breathe that for 2+hrs. good hike tho

Definitely recommend the side trails on this on, mainly due to the high trafficked main trails. Outside of that it was a decent trail that I will definitely do again!

Very busy trail

Interesting trail with some ups and downs, not flat, except for section that runs along the creek - flat lowland, lotsa bugsss. I did it anti-clockwise to end with a good view looking over the cliffs.

This is a well-maintained trail. I'm over 60 and this trail was easy - no idea how this gets a 'moderate' rating. There are very few rocks - you don't have to step on any if you don't want to, and there is certainly no required scrambling. The altitude change is very modest and not steep. Markings on the main trail near the start point are better maintained than secondary trails or the return trip.

Beautiful hike! It was super busy near the trail head and the lookouts but fewer people further out. There terrain is pretty much the same the entire hike but would definitely recommend it. Not much for wildlife probably because of the volume up people but still worth it!

Not too busy great views. Early spring so not much growth as yet. Did see a turkey vulture. No litter around but it was a bit muddy

Great views! We went in January so there weren’t huge crowds. Maybe a dozen people passed in the 4 hour hike. Would definitely go again.

Out on this trail today with a friend; absolutely beautiful. Definitely very muddy in parts but completely tolerable if you’re wearing proper hiking shoes. Trails are well marked but make sure you’re paying attention and have time to go to Crawford loop - we went out in afternoon and didn’t notice we made wrong turn and ended up in Crawford trails (only planned on 7.8 loop) - our loop turned into a 16k - we started later in day so we’re worried about losing sunlight. That was our bad though and still a beautiful detour. Look forward to doing this again.
