The trail is well-kept and fairly well-marked/straightforward, especially if you’re following along on the app. Relatively big chunks of it are closed off due to construction though, so you have to adjust your entrance and exit points. For the most part, the trail is really accessible for all hiking abilities and it’s nicely paved - plus you follow the river for quite a while which is peaceful. Can get muddy in the rain, beware! Again, sometimes due to closures you have to cut through more residential areas to continue sections of the hike, but all in all it’s a great lush route to make you feel as if you’ve really stepped away from the metropolis.

It’s a nice trail with some bridges and mud creek flows along there. There are dogs and most are not on leashes !!!

A nice forested detour on a wide trail that leaves from the main brickworks area. The best part is the "cave of dreams" - a mysterious and spooky tree in the heart of the woods. Lots of dog walkers.

It’s a nice trail although it’s closed along the Mt. Pleasant dew to a sewer construction at the moment.

Trails like this one are a gem, amazing way to zone out while you're in middle of a city.

Excellent trail! It is quickly accessible from downtown, but will make you think you are far from the city! We followed the trail from start to (almost) finish. It is stroller- friendly despite a few bumps and muddy parts. The shadow and freshness provided by the trees in almost all the trail was greatly appreciated in this hot July day. The pause at Evergreen brickworks was the cherry on top of it all :-)

It’s pretty decent place to go hiking, but road in the app a bit wrong. We lost our way and didn’t finish it, because a ledder in the end was closed (private property). Anyway, overall the walk was good.

No trail markers so I would use this app while here to make sure you don’t end up on a side trail. Other than that the trail was clear. Had to take a round about way through a cemetery as when we got to the staircase back to the trail after cutting through the neighborhood it was blocked off for construction. Not sure how long that will last but the cemetery connects to the trail if you can’t get through. Get ready to run across a busy street though. Went on a weekday and it was fairly well trafficked so I can imagine it’s crowded on the weekends. Where I entered the trail there was a community center and cafe that look like a great place to bring kids. Overall a great area and trail!

Nice trail condition. Walkable I’m running shoes, no boots required. There is a staircase that is closed near the beginning, had to scramble around it a little bit, but otherwise the trail condition is great. You forget you are in Toronto for a while.

It's a good trail to explore going amidst the Mt.Pleasant cemetry but the best trail starts after you complete this trail and cross the road.

One of the most beautiful trails in the midtown Toronto. You'll love running/hiking in the woods right next to Yellow creek and Mud creek. Grab a cup of coffee and a blueberry scone at Cafe Belong at Evergreen Brick Works - the lowest altitude in this loop. The wide and paved trails make it perfect for a rainy day. I've been doing this trail for 5 years now and never got tired of it.

A tough walk with much of the route iced up. Ok with crampons, a bit dodgy without as at mid- Mar 19!

Amazing hike in the city! Very icy in the winter so wear good boots and go very slowly. Street parking was available & close by.

This is a great trail in the middle of the city ! Looking forward to doing the whole loop in the summer - it’s currently a skating rink and slush in a lot of parts (as of March 10/19) and crampons for your shoes would be really helpful. Very difficult in some parts with the ice for what should be a very easy trail!

Mostly flat trails. We took the Moore Ave. trailhead entrance w/c is a bit hidden. Parking is just along the street, in front of the cemetery or one of the residential roads. It's nice that it connects to the Evergreen Brickworks. This will be a nice way to go on the Saturday Farmer's market in the morning when parking is packed :)

Very nice trail. Medium difficulty, paved and easy to follow. It goes cloes to an abandoned railway and offers great view over the city. I ended up in an old factory and clay quarry. A must do to my opinion.
