Great hiking area only about 60-75 min from Toronto. The weather was beautiful at just below freezing. Some ice on the path made the hiking fun with the whole family and the pup. We did ~5Km and stayed mostly in the value area looking at rock formations and then climbing on them:) The trail had moderate traffic with other people who couldn't stay inside any longer! We read that there were some small caves, but couldn't find them...maybe due to snow or ice cover. This just means we have to come back to look some more:)

Decent outing but the cliffs were a little underwhelming - even by southern ontario standards. Still made for an enjoyable hike

Always love Mono Cliffs! It was snowing and beautiful up at the Lookout off McCarsten Lake. Magic.

Good views and good trails. Very busy trails and sometimes horses.

the trails were well marked and easy to follow, but it would have been nice ìf the main attractions of the park had directions on the trail signs, lots of people were asking directions to get to the cliffs. The main trail that's marked in red is fairly easy but once you get into the cliff or Bruce trail there is lots of steep climbing and decents. High traffic on weekend, the parking lot was almost full by 11 am

Worth the trip to this park especially in fall. Parking was $7.50 at the pay meter. Trails well marked and maintained. Enjoyed the side trails of the Bruce. Awesome to see horses also using these trails

Very nice trails, not very hard, close enough from Toronto. I was alone all day on the trails, very beautiful and peaceful.

Pleasant day hike. Not overly scenic or challenging, but a nice day out on a trail.

Excellent walk through woods and clearings, rock cliffs and ponds. Low people traffic in early morning.

Great trail, easily one of my favourites since I started hiking & exploring Ontario parks last year. The drive up is amazing too with all the hills and trees especially if you go in the fall.

Really liked this place. Many trails to follow that offered different terrain/scenery. Would go here again!

Excellent trails! Well manicured and very well marked. Variety of terrain as well which was nice, some trails are more difficult than others, but overall an easy-ish hike. I enjoyed how many trails there were! We completed all of them and it was roughly 18km. Clear clear water in the lakes as well!
Nice to see horses out on the trails too!

An amazing hike

This was one of my favourite hikes outside Toronto. A beautiful park with nice and well marked trails (although we used our AllTrails map all the time). You will get a nice mix of forest, some small ponds and a bit of elevation. The lookouts are pretty nice locations to stop for snacks, you can get a wide view of south at one point.
I won't rate it as a moderate level hike though.

Would be 5 stars if the trails were much easier to run. Hard packed icy snow made it a challenge for a steady pace. Parking lot is a skating rink right now

Nice well maintained trail. We hiked a total of 14km. One steep section coming down southern outlier trail. The view from the lookout point overlooking south is spectacular. Many features including forest, ponds, stream, views. I followed a combination of Bruce trail main and side trails but there are many local trails.

Great, well maintained, lightly trafficked trails which are super easy to navigate (coloured markers are everywhere). Lots of different options for all hiking levels. The Lookout Trail has some difficult hills and rocky terrain but the hike was worth it, the views from the top are just beautiful! The southern loop trail (green trail I believe?) has a nice pond and little sitting area, which was a nice spot for the dogs to cool off! Highly recommend this park!
Note: many of the trails are frequented by horses.

Although there were some steeper parts, the hike isn't intense at all. It was nice for a short nature walk.

pretty sweet place to go. I brought rum, sheeesha, and a pillow. went left at the start of the trails and as I went decided to climb down into the valley and up the other side. wouldn't recommend doing that though cause. still here. pretty cool

Great. Lots of variety - diverse forests, meadows, cliffs, stairs, ponds, smooth paths, hiking trails. Good in all seasons.
