Very relaxing walk. Perfect for kids. Lots of signs explaining the ecosystems around you as you walk . I would consider this a very easy hike .

This is my favourite trail in the east end of Ottawa (so far!). So I give it 5 stars (for Ottawa). The boardwalk is a nice loop and its fun to spot all the animals in the water (frogs, turtles, bugs). Its also a calm place to walk in the winter. The bog itself is interesting in that apparently its rare for this type of bog to be this far south.

The road it very bad 1 km from the parking lot to the trail you can't go over 10km/hr. Beautiful trail for season changes. If you bring seeds birds will eat from your hands!

This is a pleasant trail for all seasons. If you head to the boardwalk the dogs aren't allowed, however if you select the trail which parallels the access road towards Anderson Road dogs on leash are welcome except during the winter months.
