Too busy. Trails are mostly asphalt! Would discourage those who are looking for an actual hiking trail.

Walking

This trail is not moderate, just the very beginning. Most of the trail is on a paved path that has many bikes. However it was a long weekend.

Growing up in Toronto the Don River was polluted for so long. it is now a vibrant ecosystem we have taken back. The trail is a must for any Torontonian to explore.

not a horrible trail.. but more for mountain biking. it’s extremely narrow and it winds pretty much all the way down for the first 1.5km or so. not my first choice for a trail in toronto for hiking or walking.

t'was good I like the scenery quiet . good for hiking to walk or run early in the morning lots of cyclist back and forth and but be careful turning or walking in sharp turn or in the bridges because some cyclist really bike too fast. At the woods and some areas better to bring or apply some lotions for insects bites. Apply sunscreen because some area has no shade. better wear longer sleeves so you wouldn't scream if something crawling in your arms, but this trails is amazing for me

Awesome trail networks around here. Many different off trails you can walk around to. But bring bug spray, it’s buggy, and you’ll get eaten alive lol. Also quite overgrown in some off trail areas but just be careful going through. My phone died halfway through the walk but we looped the river, and the main path doesnt go along the river but you can take off trails to a trail next to the river. Bit muddy and slippery in areas so be careful. Beautiful views of the DVP and some railroads along the way, worth the views.

Went early evening. It was busy with cyclists so we took the unpaved path which was nicer. Though we only hiked a part of the trail. Bring bug spray.

Beware of going in mud or water puddles! Very deep and got my bike stuck. Had to step in mud to get out. Bring bug repellent if your going off trail. Off trail is sometimes over grown, bring long pants and long sleeves if your going that way.
