Loudon Peatland Trail is a 2.8 mile loop trail located near French River, Ontario, Canada that features a great forest setting and is good for all skill levels. The trail is primarily used for hiking, walking, and birding and is best used from May until September. Dogs are also able to use this trail.
Loved it! Beautiful views, hike was not too easy but not too hard. The trail is not marked well and can be hard to see. Loved the idea of it being partly boardwalk and smooth pathway for wheelchairs, walkers, etc. So that everyone has the opportunity to learn about and enjoy nature. There are little education posts along the path to educate you about the local flora and fauna.
