HikingGreat!Snow

We hiked, but snowshoes might have come in handy. We brought poles instead. Snow was packed at most spots though. The view was pretty at the lookout point. As the park is closed you have to walk an additional 1.6km return from the parking lot.

Nice trail, a little muddy in november but there were board walks through the worst if it.

Cool trail route through marshland, forest and some parts on a boardwalk. Pretty view over water and islands at the lookout point, and then another pleasant walk back.

The trail is very easy for beginning hikers and families. I did it with my elderly mother and she was fine. Apart from the lookout, the trail was quite boring, not a lot to see.

Lots of different terrain to enjoy! Decent change in elevation and amazing lookout at the peak of the loop!

This short trail takes your through beautiful forests of oak, maple, cedar and pine trees. Only to then take you out onto a ridge overlooking the water with breathtaking views. A quintessential Canadian trail!

Forgot to stop my hike at the trail head so it recorded our trip to get ice cream and back to our campsite lol. At the actual lookout you can climb all the way down to the point to the water, there was even a small group of people swimming in one of the coves. It’s a steep way back up though
