Breathtaking views, vegetation varies throughout, and tricky rock sections. Ensure you have your map downloaded and pay attention.

Amazing hike! Very busy around the lookout but fairly quiet the rest of the way. Views are unbelievable. We did it backwards (started at the lookout) & I would highly recommend this method. I feel like I had energy for photos / view appreciation than after approximately 17 km (full loop). Can’t wait to do this again!

Great hike! It was not too busy which was nice! Recommend parking at Mcurdy parking over Cemetery parking. Bring lots of water!

Good trail. We took an extra 2 km side trail. In total we did 19.5 km. It was fun and challenging. Luckily there were no bugs that day. The trail does not have proper signs/directions, most of the people were confused and lost searching for the Lookout. But still it was worth it. We started from 453 Cemetery Road and did a loop.

Fun trail! We parked at 453 Cemetery Road and did the loop. Took us 4.5 hours to do the 15km loop (27 and 30 year old in fairly good shape to give you perspective). Lion’s Head Lookout is a must-see. Absolutely incredible. Trail varies from rough terrain with climbing rocks often to smooth (but slippery from the fallen tree needles) covered paths. Many inclines and declines on the outer trails. Mostly flat on the inner trails. Trail is well-marked so you won’t get lost easily. Enjoy!

Great trail with a variety of views. My wife and I did it in around 5 hours, at a fairly brisk pace. Recommend circling the park counter clockwise. This puts the water access at almost exactly 2/3 of the way through, and it serves as a much needed break to cool off. The Lion's Head Overlook is highly trafficked, so the last couple kms were a bit less peaceful, but we loved this whole hike! The views were terrific throughout.

Belle boucle facile, peu de difficultés techniques, baignade possible même si l’eau de la baie reste fraîche au mois de juin, belles vues panoramiques et nous avons croisés peu de monde sur la totalité de la boucle !

Beautiful views! Great hike definitely moderate.

Amazing views! I think this trail is moderate,I wouldn’t say it’s easy. I hiked the centennial ridges trail and it was categorized as moderate/hard. This one is very similar regarding it’s difficulty but 50% longer. Finnigan’s forest should be called snake forest. Harmless creatures but if you don’t like them, avoid the side trail leading across it. Completed it under 6 hours.

Did this loop with my wife and dog 2 times in the past month. First time with the inland side trail which was overgrown and a bit of a scramble but beautiful forest. Second time the full loop which was also amazing. The trail is rocky, be careful with your footing but an excellent hike. Took us 8 hours for the full loop at a very leisurely pace with many stops for pictures and breaks.

Highly recommend doing the full loop. Take your time, bring lots of food and water and be sure to make multiple stops to enjoy all the beautiful views. I did the loop counterclockwise which left the majority of the best sights and scenery on the second half of the trail, which I preferred.

If you do the whole loop it takes roughly 16.7 KM in total! Definitely recommend to wear really good hiking shoes and get ready to climb rocks! Overall it was really fun and definitely a workout!

Really nice trail, especially the first half when starting from McCurdy and moving clockwise. The views are remarkable, especially considering you don’t have to get through a bunch of elevation. We went at a pretty easy pace and it took us about 5 hrs to do the whole loop. Parts of the trial are pretty rocky and might be a bit tricky if carrying a lot of weight but otherwise quite straightforward. Definitely worth spending a day on.

First half of the walk was good, second half was a bit boring. Overall it was actually 17km and a good day activity. Very clear signage.

Started at the parking lot McCurdy trail head. The first few kilometers had quite a bit of mosquitoes but as we got closer to the water they died off and we were mostly mosquito free from there on out. Hiked the full loop and back to the parking lot we ended up doing about 17km total. Experienced with hiking 4 year old daughter hiked the whole loop mostly on her own. There is many areas where the trail meets the cliff edge or stepping over some deep crevasses so be sure to stay on the trail and be safe. Tough rocky trails but found that made it more fun and had amazing views.

I hiked the bruce trail and the campground there is the best little private camping, nice section of trail not to hard .

This was a brutal hike and I loved it. it was about 19km all added up. Beautiful lookout and rocky beach. Bugs get worse when inland. Spend the night at lions head after, it's a neat town.

Nice hike with up and downs, rocky areas so sturdy boots would help, trail partially inland, partially follows coast but at distance. A few lookout spots. Some Mosquitos at lower elevation (beginning), not too many higher up.

Longer than the profile suggest. Fantastic views - the view points are pretty busy but the back side was empty.

What an amazing trail! We did the whole loop. We took our time and were there for a little over 8 hrs. The views were unbelievable. some parts are a little challenging for sure. Hardly any mosquitoes!
