Awesome trail with lots of variety. Some parts are wide and easy and some are windy. Some ruins are here too. Definitely recommend trying it! Unfortunately there was a young female who had her car broken into at the parking lot. The thief stole her wallet. I felt bad for her because she was from Fredericton, NB.

Nice 7 k trial run from the car park of Lime Kiln to the Beaver Trial and back to to Lime Kiln car park. No major obstacles to run over. No washrooms.

Great easy trail. Kiln ruins are interesting.

Great trail... until the last section where you have to walk along the side of a busy road rather than in the woods.

Not super scenic. No washrooms. Wide, level terrain in most areas makes it stroller accessible.

I previously wrote that the Jack Pine trail is the nicest in the green belt (and I consider the Jack Pine trail to be on the other side of Moodie Drive) and while I still consider that to be true, the Lime Kiln trail has some charms too. There is a really nice stand of birth trees at the start of the trail and the "ruins" of the Lime Kiln are interesting. There are some chickadees here who will eat out of your hand - but not as many as in the Chipmunk/Beaver trails.
