All paved but a great urban oasis steps from the hustle and bustle of the city. Busy trail but lots of room to distance. Some side trails to explore as well but I was there alone after dusk. Bring a headlamp if on the spit at night.

I’ve been coming to this park for years. Astounding bird sanctuary and a great variety of vegetation. Giving it 3 stars for now because it’s going through some serious growing pains. Ashbridges Bay Land Reform is underway. Dump trucks going up and down Leslie St non stop. And you can hear the construction noises even as you head further into the park. (I came on a weekday). But they are making some great improvement/upgrades to the park, can’t wait to see when it’s done! And can get a little boring if you’re just walking. Best for jogging or biking.

It was nice walk on a nice day that wasn’t so far from from home. A lot of people on the trail that day. Kind of expected cause of the beautiful weather that’s in November

the trail is part of the Tom Thomson Park with a nature reserve. for a trail located in the heart of Toronto there is an abundance of wildlife that lives in this area. a popular spot for bird watchers. in the spring and the fall the spit is part of a migratory flight path for many birds. only open to foot traffic and to cyclists.

I went for October big day, it was worth it. I have mixed feelings about this trail, sometimes it’s amazing and sometimes it’s just plain boring. All in all a good day but I don’t think I’ll be back for a while.

A nice, easy, trail. Pretty much paved and flat throughout. Taking side trails offers some more interesting terrain and views. About two hours out and back at a liesurely pace. Great views of the city and some widelife. Liked the worn bricks on the shoreline and the art created by people. We had fun and will venture out there again.

Long trail, if you have a bike I would bring it since you can get a lot of riding done here. Some cool hidden paths to walk around if you’re feeling adventurous. Can definitely spend a couple hours here

It was a tucked away spot in the city inside the Tommy Thompson Park. We saw industrial remnants or old building materials washed up onto beaches or scattered along the paths. The area’s got tonnes of side trails it would be a better option to explore the area with a bike or prepare for a long walk on mostly flat surfaces. The furthest end of the trail, in my option, is the nicest part of the trail. You can easily find an unoccupied spot on the beach to chill for a bit before continuing on your walk. Watch out for sharp objects or broken glasses though we saw plenty of them along the way.

Excellent trail with good markings, there is a light house at the halfway point, it’s secluded but you can get a good view of the toronto skyline. Exhausting so bring enough water & protein bars. Plan for a day activity there are lots of spots for just sitting with the family and picnic.
