This is a beautiful hike, we enjoy it every Summer and the kids are having a blast. You can admire an impressive variety of plants, very interesting formations and lots of animals from salamanders to snakes. There is always something new and amazing.
If you find the trail difficult to find... you are in the wrong spot. A day pass can be purchased at the main gate for a small fee, this place is great for fishing and has a swimming pool for everyone to enjoy and a great playground, parking, very clean washroom plus lots other facilities.

Very difficult to find and access. There is a large NO Trespassing sign posted yet a small worn trails seems to appear along a fence row. Not a positive experience.

Walked around the lake. Easy walk , even the trials through the woods. Great photo opportunities.

We went snow shoeing on this trail . The gate was not manned but near the end of the trek some park official shows up and said we need a pass to use the property . No sign , nothing but we need a pass ? OK we will buy a pass . Ranger Yogi says you have to drive to St Thomas to get the pass during normal working hours . It's Sunday afternoon so like that isn't happening . This nonsense and some static from campers who didn't like snow shoeing we will never go back there . I would suggest avoiding all that hassle .
