Beautiful lightly trafficked trail - some difficult spots, which we liked, there is quite a bit of rocky terrain and a few steep hills, definitely a bit of a work out. A good portion of this trail is fairly grown over (through fields) with narrow paths and we did get a bit wet as we hiked early morning. Caves in the keyhole side trail are beautiful and great fun to climb! Would highly recommend this trail for someone looking for a moderately difficult hike. This trail is definitely not stroller accessible.
Easy trail with a fun destination. Can easily be added to Notawasaga Bluffs Trail to be even more interesting at the cost of about an extra kilometre. Very well marked. You have to pay $6.50 for parking though.... Didn't mind as it was supporting the trail system.
Hiked this side trail in May but couldn't complete the circle as there was heavy ice in the crevice and through the key hole. Wait till August for the ice to melt (hopefully). Lovely hike, with a very steep and challenging piece just before the crevice.
