Great trail! Small hill at the beginning and the rest is pretty flat. Options to extend the hike by taking other trails. Beautiful area!! Highly recommend.
Beautiful trail, would rate this easy not moderate! Falls was flowing!! It was pretty awesome! Fire pit at the top if you want to sit and have lunch! Wood was provided! Very nice place!!
nice open trails and easy to follow
Nice hike, can be made much longer if you add in some of the Bruce Trail side trails. Beautiful scenery and pretty level ground throughout. Would rate this ‘easy’ for any type of regular hiker. Dogs loved it and there is parking on site! $6.75 entrance fee.
Falls are worth the trip. Bruce trail sections are fun.
We hiked Hilton Falls trail last week, just after the park opened mid week, not allot of people there so it was nice and peaceful, we went up Hilton Falls trail and came down Red Oak trail, it was a great trail to hike, bit of a steep grade at first but soon leveled out. Unfortunately the falls were bone dry at this time, so it was a little disappointing end to a great hike. We will try again in the spring when we know there will be water flowing
Cool waterfalls and beautiful, not a moderate hike - more of a walk!
Took the extra loop around. Total 4 hour hike. Always a favourite of my family more than 25 years
Pros: Good entry level trail system, clear path with little obstructions.
Cons: lineup to get In the parking lot on the weekend and paid entry
clean, clear trails.

Amazing view
This was a great trail win a beautiful waterfall at its apex. I would like to return and try the more challenging route (main one is fairly easy).
This was a great hike. I went with a friend (I normally hike alone), and we had a blast! It's challenging enough and of course scenic with the waterfall and there's great paths off the main trail. Lots of mosquitos but there's not too much you can do about that! I love the campfire by the water too, I wish I had known about it! I would have brought a hot dog or marshmallows! I would definitely recommend this trail :)
Couldn't find the Dufferin Quarry trail and we happened upon this one. Great trail, easy walk!
Nice family hike
Beautiful waterfall and stream, not too difficult
Beautiful waterfall and public firepits for a break. Gravel and off road bike paths shared with hikers.
Easy hiking suitable for kids

Great area for a fire and paths are good but some areas could be more clearly marked.
it was great in the beginning we were going on to the hike trails but after 2 mistakes i found where to bike route were
It's a beautiful place to hike but costs $6.75 per person over 15 yo to enter. For a family it can get kind of pricey. They have a fire pit and supply wood where you can have a fire though. I think that's a great perk; families sit around roasting hot dogs or marshmallows. Lots of picnic tables as well.
Was A Very Nice Trail. Pretty Easy,But Still A Nice Hike.
Awesome place but 4 star because you must pay to see nature.
Loved it
The trail was nice but there is a lot of litter. We carried out some but it was defiantly noticeable. Please take out your trash!
Nice wooded walk to the waterfall.
Beautiful trail! The falls at the end of the trail is gorgeous. I think it's a little obscene that they have to charge people to allow them see what was already there, a gift from nature however, it's an enjoyable hike! The birds are really friendly as well, they will sit in your hands and eat from you palms. Great family experience!
Family of 4, with two young kids. We brought along a double side by side stroller. There are 3 entrances, the main one closest to the gate (with the directory) the beginning of this entrance is not stroller friendly, very rocky, but not impossible, we carried it for a short time over the worst. Once up the first incline it only gets better the further in you get. Wide open trails, well cared for and marked. The other 2 entrances are to the right of the first along the road, the second entrance is probably the most stroller friendly, as as far as I could see it wasn't rocky and not a steep incline what so ever (we did not travel this one, just saw it on the way back) the third entrance is past the resivour, just follow the unused road. it's smooth sailing for stollers, except for one steep incline....this is part of the red trail (east of the water) and it's super quiet, not a lot of traffic at all. The other two entrances are the yellow trails. Bring a picnic! fantastic area by the falls to sit and relax. Best suited stroller are ones with some kind of suspension as it can get bumpy in spots.
awesome trail. if your looking for a break from the crowds stick the blue side trails.
Great little trail with lots of options nearby to extend the hike. Falls are quite nice
