Beautiful trail, lots of ups and down. I went during the week therefore it was very quiet... saw a few runners and cyclist. Very good indication of the main trail. The only downfall is the giant hill my dog and I had to walk back up when going back to the car.

Saw 7 deer, 2 racoons and 1 owl. If you want to get closer to the trail drive down the dirt road.

Nice trail - TONS of side trails so this could be made much much longer. The trail was moderately busy (we saw a few cyclists, other hikers and 3 groups of horseback riders), mind you we started our hike at 10am on a mild Saturday. Trail is well maintained and easy to navigate, would rate this trail easy, for any normal hiker.

Lots of ups and downs. Mostly hardwood forests. Beautiful in all season, especially winter, but trails can be icy so wear appropriate footwear ie, micro spikes or studs.
Many creeks and small streams. Occasionally horses on trail.
