Snowy and some parts muddy, but overall amazing. Trail markers are white so hard to see in the snow so keep your app handy

This trail is beautiful, lots of wet muddy sections, some with significant water. lots of puzzle solving to cross some areas with the least likely chance of wet feet. very grateful it's well marked we had to finish the last 4km with a flash light as we ran out of daylight. Happens when photographers go hiking we are slower.

Quite muddy/puddly but maneuverable. Well worn and marked. Great Lake views mainly of east side of the loop. Will return to complete with the additional loops (approx 6+ kms).

Great hike! Beautiful lake views, canopy trees, lots of different scenery and terrain. Quite muddy, but doable in hiking boots of waterproof trail runners.

This was a very nice trail with well marked paths. currently as if November 8th there are some patchy areas that a bit slick due to wet grounds. Highly recommend wearing some good boots at this time of year. walking g sticks aren't necessary if your agile and in good shape. Bring a camera as there are some great opportunities.

Great trail! Muddy areas and unfortunately all the leaves are down now. Did the 8.7kms and it took us 4.5 hours with a pit stop to refuel. Weather was lovely as well. I don’t find it too challenging yet great leg workout!

Beautiful trail! Some muddy and wet spots but overall great. I find it very well marked. Some spots you need to stop and stare at the trees to find the white blaze but easy to figure out.

Fantastic trail. Great scenery and reasonably challenging if you keep the pace up. A bit muddy in certain areas; recommend wearing hiking boots to stay dry.

Very muddy around the back of the lake with all the rain this week, wear hiking boots. A few spots there are side trails so it was handy to have the map accessible. We did the 8km loop, arrived at 10am Saturday, by the time we left around noon it was packed with cars lining both sides of the hwy.

One of my favourite trail this year. Did it 4 times over 4 months, and enjoyed swimming in the lake in July and the beautiful fall colours last week. Half way point is stunning.
