Pleasant trails for cross-country skiing and walking in the winter. Lots of parking and accessible right off the highway. A very peaceful forest!

I love that fact there is a place to cross-country ski right in the City. It means I can squeeze in a couple hours and of skiing into my busy day. I enjoy the yellow loop the best as it is well used by skiers and more packed down. It is also further and has less foot traffic. I enjoy coming here as often as I can.

An interesting waterfront park that has a number of trail options and amenities. Easily accessed by car from Cornwall or by bike via the Waterfront Trail. Has a play area, picnic spots and boat launch. New in 2018 is the Cornwall BMX Track, the longest sanctioned BMX track in Ontario. Popular in winter with snowshoe trails and cross country skiiing. Geocaches on site.

A LOT of bugs! Bring spray. The main red trail was well groomed (gravel) but the others (blue, white & green) were not and had a lot of mud both times I went. The trail is built around a marsh area so hence all the bugs. Not even bug spray was keeping them away.

If you stay on the gravel trail, you should be fine. No dogs allowed on this trail.
