Did this trail in September, little to no bugs. The " blue trees " were hard to find at times and I found that a bit confusing. Follow the Inuksuks when you get lost they are pointing in the direction you need to travel. Bring a compas, look at the map before leaving, bring water / snacks. When you get to the old logging road as you exit the bush, go RIGHT, more "blue trees" will apear.
Hike was overall great, also a great work out.

Well marked with paint and decently maintained trail. A nice 10km. I'd say for someone with a moderate fitness level the trail would be considered easy. Quiet and enjoyable. 2.5hrs return.

Very challenging. Very secluded. Lots of nature. Steep grades in some places, long, and covered with plants everywhere so it's hard to see the trail. You also have to jump over logs in the way. Not for people with health concerns.

we LOOOOVED it. the views were breath taking and they got better every single time. the last view is worth all of the rough terrain and difficulty. we brought our dogs and they loved it too.
