Great little trail to do as part of the glass bottom boat and shipwreck tour. Easy for my then 8 year old and still a nice walk for us old people.
Can be very busy.

We visited this island a few years ago . Kind of costly if your just going for a hike . I could not believe all the garbage that people had left , it was disgusting . Wildlife way too friendly , actually pestering us for snacks . Lots of snakes , had to watch our step in spots . Other than the garbage it was nice .

When we went the hiking was good for the majority of the trail. The cave was closed, light house closed as was the trail to the light house. So 3✡ is all I can give.

When you leave the groomed trail and head south from the Lightstation onto the actual hiking trail, it us marvellous!! Like walking through an enchanted forest.

We did the loop trail, starting along the coast to the lightkeeper's station, and then back towards the interior of the island. The coastal part is easy and flat, although the second part of the loop through the island interior is significantly more rocky and might not be the best choice for parents with small children or people with joint problems.
