It was a good hike! Lots of variation in the elevation and beautiful scenery. The only thing I would suggest is putting a parking lot closer to the beginning of the trail.

Great park with great trails. However, if you are off main trails, there are almost no trail signs and markers.

This is my staple trail. I do the main loop about 60x a year!

Love the gentle terrain, nice rocky streams, tall trees and friendly horse riders. Can be a a bit busy with mountain bike riders on weekends. Nice highlight is the trail center, lots of interesting wild life facts, amazing old style steam train. Overall a nice trail.

The Main Loop is a gravel path through lovely forest and meadow environments. There are a few fairly steep climbs but overall should be very manageable for most hikers.

Great trail and very beautiful and well taken care of. As someone else mentioned, there were no waterfalls in this trail which is what we specifically came for.

I went because the app said it had waterfalls. I followed the map pretty diligently and found no waterfalls. It still gets a 5* from me for immaculately groomed trails and beautiful forestry. I had to park 1/2 mile away from the trail head too. There are other parking locations to use that seemed much closer to the trail. The three waterfalls are on a different section of trail than this one.
