Beautiful time to be at Crawford Lake. The winter weather adds a great change to the landscape. It’s also less touristy which means less foot traffic and more solitude in nature. I love taking my dog and hiking to Rattlesnake or vice versa. It’s a bit icy on the boardwalk and other parts so you might want walking sticks or icers. Crawford Lake is also frozen enough to walk on which is pretty cool. You can also check out the Indigenous long houses and head into the visitor centre. You do need to pay for parking unless you have a Halton Hills pass.

This was a great trail, but I recommend going when it's dry out! A large portion of the trail is very Rocky and it gets really slippery climbing over them after it's rained, so be careful! This trail is great for beginners and moderate level hikers, not too challenging at all! I did the trail with my dog today and he also approves!
