A nice and easy hike through beautiful hardwood forest and along the edge of a quarry. The trail is on a former homestead site of one of the area's oldest settlers. The loop follows the Canada Side, Limehouse Side and Bruce Trails. The Canada Side Trail follows 22nd Side Road before heading into the woods.

There were lots of boulders on this trail and particularly some.that were covered in moss making it rather slippery in places. At one point it got very over grown and the mosquitoes were out in force. I don't enjoy walking along the road as you feel very venerable with all the traffic. It was nice to see what was left of the mill and lime kilns along the way too.

Great trail, in forested parts which is about 50% of trail. Remainder of trail is either roadside or through farmland. Parts of the trail quite muddy, but manageable.
