done the complete distance on my bike 2 or 3 times, back and forth about 86km, and doing parts of it every year. Trail is quite crowded on beautiful weekends, so head out early. Possible shorter routes:
Tottenham-Caledon East
Tottenham-Inglewood
Palgrave-Winston Churchill Blvd
Caledon East-Winston Churchill Blvd

also worthwhile: West of Palgrave, do not follow trail, but detour into Albion Hills Nature Reserve, and join the trail again further west on Gore Landing Rd.
