This is a little urban forest that is in rough shape. Trails are minimally (if at all) maintained. The amount of deadwood and blowover is like I've never seen before. There almost seems to be more trees on the ground than in the air. Its a great little spot if you're a teenager skipping school but not much beyond that. Some redeeming values are the spritely little Lynn River that meanders through the forest offering fishing opportunities. The main trail is wide and most of the trails are easy with on section along the river moderate. The trails tend to muddy. The conservation area is built on the site of an old milling operation, however the sign denoting the information is on the Lynn Valley Trail.
