The King Street access point is very easy to get in and parking available. Just a few blocks closer to High Street is also an entry point in the park right by the water dam but it is a 2 ft step off the concrete pier to get in. The second part to go UP river starts behind the Scotiabank and close parking. Sloped bank for easy entry but a little shallow close to shore. Deep and easy paddling. Lots of turtles and birds. Maybe some ok fishing. Could have gone further except for a fallen tree that had been cut but more branches blocked the spot - see photo.
